What is BTX and how does it work?
BTX is a treatment that has been used by doctors for many years to alleviate wrinkles and creases. It relaxes the muscles, and smoothes the skin on the applied area. Not just for wrinkles and creases, it is also used for jaw slimming.
This treatment is straightforward as it simply involves the introduction of BTX to certain areas where wrinkles or creases are prominent, It is also minimally invasive, and has little downtime.

How long does BTX last
The results can last a couple of 4 to 6 months, but we recommend that you revisit your doctor every few months to maintain the results.
When can I see the effects of BTX?
As BTX takes some time to be effective, you’ll need to wait for 2 weeks before the effects become noticeable.
Will the treatment hurt?
There will be slight discomfort to the area applied but numbing cream is used to alleviate it.
Do I have to take precautions before the treatment?
2 weeks before treatment:
Avoid taking aspirin and any other anti-inflammatory medications and oral supplements such as vitamin c and ginseng
1 week before treatment:
Avoid consuming alcohol
What should I do after getting the treatment?
For the next 24 hours, you should avoid rubbing or massaging the region where BTX was applied
You may also be asked to not perform any physical activity for 1 day.
